Miscellaneous  Items

Most of these aren't the most sexy products, but they all come in handy on a BVI Charter.  We especially like the Sleepingo Sleeping Pad to help soften the berths.  Don't forget to bring some hooks, extra clothespins and a Sharpie or two to keep things organized. We love having our Yeti Ramblers available to keep my drinks cold all day.

Here are some miscellaneous items we recommend and enjoy

-ENO TravelNest Hammock & Straps Combo - Hang an ENO Hammock on your boat for the perfect way to kick back and enjoy the gentle rock of the waves

-Amazon Basics Ripstop Wheeled Duffel - Opting for a wheeled duffel on your sailing charter ensures simple mobility from home to boat and easy storage in tight spaces.  The Amazon basic bag is a quality, low cost option.

-Sleepingo Sleeping Pad - An inflatable sleeping pad on the cabin mattress adds comfort and helps ensure a better night's sleep.  This one rolls up into a small bag making it easy to pack along.

-ISULIFE Rechargeable Foldable Personal Fan - Bringing a battery powered fan is a great idea especially if your crew will be using the forepeak cabins.  Most boats only include fans in the main cabins.

-Chums Slim Retainer - Adjustable Eyewear Keeper - Keep your glasses out of the drink with this or any other sunglass keeper

-Wooden Clothespins  - Most boats have some onboard but there's never enough.  Use them not only to hang wet clothes on the lifelines but also to help seal your chips and other bags inside

-Sharpie Permanent Markers - We use these every day to mark plastic bottles and cups preventing waste.

-LuluEasy 10 Pack Suction Cup Hooks  - Some suction cup hooks are really handy in both cabins and heads to help hang/dry/store your clothing.

-Shower Door Hooks- These recommended hooks slide right over the shower door providing a sturdy place to hang your wet clothes or towel.

-LED Headlamp - LED headlamps on the boat are super handy for hands-free lighting, making nighttime activities or navigating in low light a breeze.

-YETI Rambler 30 oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler -We love our Yeti tumbler because it keeps our drinks hot or cold for hours, making it the perfect companion for any adventure or daily routine.

-Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler - This is another great insulated tumbler to bring along

-Sunscreen.  - Make sure to bring PLENTY of sunscreen for the crew, preferably reef safe.  This one is a good option recommended by several in the group -  BLUE LIZARD Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen.  Some recommend this as well  Badger Kids Mineral Sunscreen Combo, SPF 40 Cream and SPF 35 Face Stick or this: Safe Sunscreen SPF 30.

-Insect Repellent - While insects aren't a huge issue on the boat due to the steady tradewinds, they can be bothersome at times.  Be prepared with some repellent such as this great option.

-Nutmeg Grader and Whole Nutmeg - Come prepared to make your own Painkiller on board!!
